How to decide
Ask what you actually want, and whether you have the willpower for it.
Desire is the compass
The Heart centre governs willpower, value and material commitment. When the want is real, the will is there; when it is borrowed, the follow-through evaporates.
This can look self-interested from outside. It is simply how the decision-making mechanism works.
Speaking it out
Saying I want this out loud is diagnostic — the sentence either feels true or hollow.
Promises made without that want behind them tend to be broken, which damages trust unnecessarily.
