Gate 31: Leading

This gate leads by influence, and only when the group has selected it.

It sits in the Throat centre, so its expression depends on whether that centre is defined in your chart. A gate on its own is a half-channel: it only becomes consistent definition when a partner gate — 7 — is activated too, either in your own chart or in someone else's while you are with them.

Claiming leadership no one asked you to take.

Leadership that carries a group because the group chose it.

As with every gate, correct expression is downstream of your type and authority. The gate describes the flavour of the energy; your strategy decides when it gets used.
