Gate 1: Self-Expression

This gate carries the drive to express a self that is not a copy of anyone else, usually through a creative medium.

It sits in the G centre, so its expression depends on whether that centre is defined in your chart. A gate on its own is a half-channel: it only becomes consistent definition when a partner gate — 8 — is activated too, either in your own chart or in someone else's while you are with them.

Forcing expression on the world before anyone has asked to see it.

Creative work that is unmistakably yours and lands because it was recognised.

As with every gate, correct expression is downstream of your type and authority. The gate describes the flavour of the energy; your strategy decides when it gets used.
